The first draft of the next novel, a sequel to Fly Catcher, is now written. But this is just the beginning!

The plot is there, the characters are there, the locations and all the scenes are there. But, one of the most enjoyable stages of writing comes next, and the creative juices will keep flowing. Does the structure work? Does it all make sense? Do I need more research? What’s missing, who’s missing, and how can it be better?

These questions, and many more, are all addressed in the editing. A process I enjoy very much. There were five drafts to Fly, and that doesn’t include the final, final polish! With luck, the next book will be ready in 2024.
